Bitbuckler is a spin-off of the internationally renowned IT-Security department of Ruhr-University Bochum. It has been supported by the German Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy. The startup's goal is to reinstate control over data-security for private and commercial Internet users, by enabling them to effortlessly protect their data on the Internet.
The software protects messages, pictures, videos and all other files on the Web and in the Cloud, allowing access only to users selected by the author. This only takes two clicks and no know-how whatsoever
Bitbuckler integrates itself directly into applications on desktops and smartphones. It establishes top-notch security by utilizing only the strongest cryptographic algorithms - such as AES-256 - for complete end-to-end security.
For businesses Bitbuckler can be integrated seamlessly into arbitrary applications.
For this purpose Bitbuckler has partnered with leading IT-service providers, allowing companies to integrate Bitbuckler's security into all of their business processes.
